Ug...is it Monday already? My weekend went too fast. Friday was Cale's birthday. I went to the races to watch. He ended up last! weird for him. In the final race he worked his way up to 7th. After we went to a bonfire party. I haven't been up that late in a long time. Saturday my mom helped me w/a sewing project. I found some really cute fabric and wanted to make a baby carrier for my co-worker who just had a baby. It was pretty simple to make. We tried it w/ Ben on Sunday, but he wasn't liking it. I think it only works for newborns.
Sunday was fun. I met Shell and Julia at chuch. Julia bit Shelly on the shoulder towards the end of the service..it's probably only funny to me since I'm reading a Vampire book right now..and I giggled to myself thinking Julia's been changed! We had a BBQ at my parents house for Cale. Their deck is the best to hang out on. So, we ate hotdogs,shared stories and played that lawn game where you toss the balls connected by string? I don't know what it's called. Cale's sister also came over too. She brought her wedding dress for my mom to look at. She'll be doing the alterations. It was so pretty on her!
Well, that's about it. I'm looking forward to Tuesday, its our kickball playoffs! Hopefully the ball doesn't come to me!
